Tina Cross, born & educated in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is an alumna of Coe College with her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art. As an intern for the iconic Peter Max in New York City, Tina was inspired to become a POP, ABSTRACT & CONTEMPORARY artist.
Tina lived in Phoenix, AZ for a decade where she created most of her POP art. As her original style bloomed, she exploded with her famous bright & bold abstract “Daisies!” Tina’s unique style flourished when she moved to downtown Denver, Colorado. Tina was inspired to infuse the CONTEMPORARY urban landscape with immense beauty she found in the nearby canyons. Colorado is where Tina’s most energetic work has been created, fusing all styles of art resulting in EXTREME ABSTRACT pieces.
With a brilliant eye for color & form, all pieces are exposed texturally & expand into full life. Shape, line, contrast, & repetition come naturally for Tina who has been drawing for as long as she can remember. Influenced by her extensive travels throughout North America. Polynesia & Europe. Tina’s work is a divergence of styles & concepts.
In addition to being displayed in many homes & galleries world-wide, her work may be viewed and purchased online at www.tcrossstudios.com
